Steak, Mushroom and Pickle Pie
When making my delicious steak and mushroom pie last week, I went to the cupboard to add some Worcestershire sauce, only to find out I had none left. However, I found a fantastic replacement when I came across a jar of Branston pickle. I added a blob of Branston into my pie (and then decided to fully commit and add a tablespoon of the stuff into the dish)!
When the pie came out I was pleasantly surprised with how the Branston really brought out the flavour of the rest of the ingredients and added a great zingy taste to the dish! Will definitely be using Branston in my steak and mushroom pie from now on.
