So, I combined my favourite Japanese food Branston and guess what? It was delicious!
• 50 g okonomiyaki flour (from Japanese food store)
• 1 large egg
• 100g chopped white cabbage
• 50ml water
• 1 heaped tablespoon Branston pickle
• Toppings: mayo & barbecue sauce (ideally Japanese!), seaweed and bonito flakes. Mix all ingredients (except toppings!) together then pour into the middle of a small greased frying pan.
Cook with a lid for 5 minutes, flip over carefully and cook for 5 minutes more. Turn once more and cook for a couple more minutes until brown then slide onto a plate. Squeeze on the mayo & BBQ sauce, then top with seaweed and bonito flakes. Oishii!
