To our consumers
We wanted to let you know that as a precaution we have recalled some Branston sweet pickle products due to possible contamination from plastic packaging.
The health and safety of our consumers is always our number one priority and we believe you should be able to enjoy our products in perfect condition. If you have bought one of the affected products, do not consume it but return it to store for a full refund, details can be found below. We are very sorry that on this occasion we may have disappointed you.
What has happened?
It is possible a limited number of jars may contain pieces of plastic, which was used by one of our suppliers.

What are we doing about it?
We have removed all stocks from supermarkets, other outlets and distribution. We have informed the relevant authorities who are satisfied with our procedures and reviewed our investigation which they agree has been carried out fully and promptly.
How can I be sure your products are safe?
We make more than 20m jars of Branston pickle each year and it was through our own regular testing that we discovered some of the jars may potentially contain pieces of plastic.
We can confirm that we no longer use ingredients in this type of packaging.
When will products be back in store?
We are already busy making Branston Pickle products and working hard to have them in supermarkets and stores in the coming days.
How can I get a refund?
The quickest way to receive a full refund is to return your purchase to the shop you bought it from.
